Kinloop & Kinhere — Support
Family safety, made simple. Two apps, one loop.
How the two apps work together
- Kinhere is installed on your family member's iPhone. It quietly shares arrival and departure from home, periodic safety heartbeats, and offers two big buttons: “I'm fine” and “I need help”.
- Kinloop is installed on your iPhone. It shows you their latest status, a timeline of events, and how long since the last message.
- Connect both apps with the same family code (Settings → Family Code).
Getting started
- Install Kinhere on your family member's iPhone and grant "Allow Always" location access and notifications (a one-time setup, done together).
- In Kinhere's Family Setup: set the home location and enable guarding.
- Open Kinloop on your iPhone, enter the same family code, and you will see their status.
Troubleshooting
- No events appear — check that both apps use the same family code, and that Kinhere shows "Guarding on".
- Location looks inaccurate — maps in mainland China use a shifted coordinate system; Kinloop converts coordinates automatically. Small offsets (10–30 m) are normal GPS accuracy.
- Battery concerns — Kinhere is designed for low power usage; region monitoring is handled by iOS itself.
